Similarly, and with the same security as NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, where we bring our payment bank card close to a terminal, the ID+® functions in the same way. It is enough for the emergency medical personnel or rescue team to bring any mobile phone close, and a photograph of the person will appear on it. This enables instant facial identification of the affected individual, and we can validate sensitive data regarding their medical history (medical conditions, medication allergies...), contact phone numbers, and medical insurance that they have willingly provided for the ID+® system. What are the advantages of this? In the case of knowing the blood type, there are few advantages since nowadays it can be determined within seconds. However, in the case of medical conditions, allergies, or simply a contact number when the injured person is unable to communicate on their own (due to loss of consciousness, unconsciousness, or inability to speak), the importance of such data can mean the difference between life and death.
